Puebla's pavilion at the Tianguis Turístico 2025 celebrates a full agenda that promotes connectivity with other states in order to be present at the 2026 World Cup in Mexico, according to Jaime Raúl Oropeza Casas, Secretary of Economy and Tourism of the state.

He added that Puebla is the sixth most visited city in the country, and that in this 49th edition, which is binational, it contributes to Mexico being placed among the 5 world powers, a goal in which all the states join.

"We are very happy to have received that message since the inauguration and we are as a country preparing to receive the World Cup next year, which will undoubtedly be very important for everyone," said the secretary.

In this regard, he said that Puebla is preparing in terms of air connectivity with Monterrey and Guadalajara, as well as in the tourist offer of overnight stays for many fans who will arrive in the country.

"We are sure that we are going to make a high-level tourist offer for visitors who come to a city with more than 2,000 buildings considered world heritage sites and to enjoy the gastronomy of Puebla," he said.

Oropeza Casas told Periódico El Momento that their participation in the Tianguis Turístico has been good, as they have attended several appointments and continue with a full agenda.

"We continue to make Mexico and Puebla heard around the world," he concluded.
