During the upcoming Tianguis Turístico, to be held in Acapulco, Guerrero, the Ministry of Tourism (SECTUR) will be recognized for its competitiveness and its contribution to the development of sporting events, as announced by Josefina Rodríguez Zamora in a recent interview.

Sectur will be present at the Tianguis Turístico from April 9 to 12, which will position Tlaxcala as a nationally prominent destination in the organization and promotion of sporting events, such as the past Beach Volleyball World Cup.

A total of 72 tour operators and hotels will participate in this event, with the objective of offering a glimpse of the state's tourism and cultural offerings.

In addition, on April 10, special activities will be held for five tour operators in Mexico City to provide detailed information on tourism events and activities to be held in the interior of the state.

All the states of the Republic, including Tlaxcala, will present the Mexico in Spain campaign, with the intention of showing the cultural and traditional richness of each state at Casa Mexico in Madrid.

Tlaxcala Fair, among the best in the country

It was highlighted that the traditional Tlaxcala Fair is among the three best nationally, competing in the category "Best Traditional Fair" with Leon and San Marcos, in the "Best of Mexico 2024" awards, which seek to highlight the connection with local culture.

The winners of these awards will be announced on April 11 at 11:30 a.m. during the Tianguis Turístico de Acapulco.
