April 10, 2024

With great enthusiasm, José Antonio Nieves, Secretary of Tourism of Tabasco, received the Tianguis Turístico México Acapulco 2024, because on this first day of the opening of the tourism pavilions, at Expo Mundo Imperial, he said exclusively that they have scheduled an extraordinary number of appointments.

"There is a great participation of the private sector, which I think is very important because at the end of the day they are the ones who sell the destination and we have an extraordinary number of appointments more than we have traditionally had and that indicates that there is already an interest in the destination and that makes us very happy," he said.

He stressed that Tabasco has the four most important cultures in Mexico and the world, Olmec, Mayan, Aztec, Zoque, as well as a natural wealth and has 80 percent of Mexico's humid tropics and 35 percent of Mexico's fresh surface water.

"We have all that and more, but we have to believe it, we are a world-class destination, he said it accurately, it seems like a joke, but it is the reality, it is the Costa Rica of Mexico," he said.

He said that El Eden, as many call Tabasco, will bring important investments and projects for the destination that will boost the economy, as well as employment, among other factors, projects that will be carried out at different times.

"The Mayan Rivers Crossing is a project that is on its way and they are projects that are going to mature to be able to work, the Mayan Train will help a lot to develop the area and I see that things are going well," he stressed.
