Quintana Roo will seek to promote community tourism at the Tianguis Turístico.
This was confirmed by the state's Secretary of Tourism, Bernardo Cueto Riestra.
"There are many of us who make up this committee, and placing special emphasis on community tourism is a fundamental part of the proposal that we will be promoting at this tourism tianguis," he said.
The state arrives with a large delegation in the Mexican Caribbean Pavilion, in which they will seek to promote the 12 destinations in the state, however, they will focus especially on making visible success stories in community tourism such as Maya Ka'an.
He also highlighted that they will present "The Mayan World Experiences" and how they will reinforce and articulate the promotion of the tourism product around the Mayan Train in the 12 stations of Quintana Roo.
"Surely in the work appointments we will have many sales and good results for Quintana Roo, we already have many work appointments in the institutional part, we will see airlines, tour operators, travel agencies," he said.
He also confirmed that they will seek to expand air connectivity in the state; Cueto Riestra was confident that they will bring good results to Quintana Roo as a result of this edition of Tianguis Turístico 2025.
